In 2005 Studio D completely overhauled it's control room, outfitting it with a state of the art 5.1 surround sound enabled Pro Tools HD3 Accel system. In addition, we installed a Pro Control console complete with the 5.1 surround pack, paired with 5 JBL monitors and subwoofer. And if you are looking for tape, we have a Studer 800 for that true tape sound.

Furthermore, the addition of classic preamps, such as the Neve Baby V's, Prism rack, compressors and eq’s make Studio D an exceptional collection of the new combined with the vintage.

May 2010 - Recording a new album for Ray Manzarek and Roy Rogers with Kevin Hayes on drums and Steve Evans on bass. Joel Jaffe engineering, assisted by Matt Wilenchik.

Feb 2010 - We are putting the finishing touches on two new singles for Edwin Hawkins and the New Hawkins Singers. Joel Jaffe is mixing, assisted by Matt Wilenchik.

Jan 2010, Aug 2009 & Feb 01, 2009 - Doobie Brothers were in doing overdubs for a forthcoming album. Engineered by Ross Hogarth, assisted by Matt Wilenchik.

Jan 2010 - Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band in the studio cutting basics for a new studio album. Produced by Jerry Harrison, engineered by Eric "ET" Thorngren, assisted by Matt Wilenchik.

May 09 - We are putting the finishing touches on Liz Kennedy's second and third records. She will be performin at the Rrazz Room on July 26th.

May 09 - Joel Jaffe Mixing, Matt Wilenchik assisting a new album for Ashling a new exciting R&B crossover artist. Produced by Tony Saunders, Executive producer Ron Umile. Featuring guest appearances by Mark Isham, Gerald Albright and Dave Ellis.

February 09 - While finishing the third album for Liz Kennedy (produced by Joel Jaffe, assisted by Matt Wilenchik) artist Liz Kennedy and video editor Dom Izzi put together a video for the song "The Wave".

September 08 - We recorded a new "Ecstatic Chant" album, live in Los Angeles, for the "Happy Guru" - Steve Ross. Engineered by Joel Jaffe, assisted by Matt Wilenchik.

July 30, 08 - We recorded a performance by Big Brother and the Holding Company with Japanese singer Superfly for a Japanese TV show.

July 08 - We recently finished a video for Sen. Barack Obama with Maria Muldaur's song "Yes We Can" featuring Maria Muldaur and guests Bonnie Raitt and the Women's Voices for Peace Choir. Check out www.yeswecanthevideo.com.

Zakir Hussein and George Brooks were in recording music for a new Film "For Real" . George Brooks was also in recording a new album for Summit. Joel Jaffe engineering and mixing with Matt Wilenchik assisting.
