Josh Garcia

Studio Manager, Engineer

Josh Garcia’s interest in music and recording began at an early age with a drum set and a four track. Now with almost two decades of experience in the music industry, learning from a diverse background of seasoned veteran producers and engineers (Don Smith, Russell Elevado, Ben Hillier), he has developed an arsenal of approaches to the endless ways of putting a record together. Josh is well versed in both digital and analog formats, often utilizing the uniqueness of both worlds to produce the best sounding recordings and mixes possible.

Making records is about the love of music, art, and creation. Music is storytelling, and auditory self-expression of any form occurs in the present and is built in the mind. It is my job as an audio engineer to capture these expressions and deliver them in a way that the artist wants them to be heard again and again.”

– Josh Garcia (Depeche Mode, NOFX, Leftover Crack)

Jeff Shea

Studio D Recording – Principal

Jeff Shea is an inspired, highly motivated and creative individual with a love for music making and the arts. With an insatiable passion for adventure and camera in hand, Jeff keenly experiences and captures the pulse of life through his vast worldwide adventures and uniquely inspiring and challenging explorations. Many of these deeply enriching adventures are in extremely remote areas, while others stand as bold as Mt. Everest, and include the highest peaks on six other continents. Jeff has visited all 193 nations. When asked in an interview if he likes to travel or needs to travel, he responded, “travel is a complex satisfaction, like a life’s work.”

Jeff’s holistic approach to life is described in the ring of five basic levels of human existence: Spiritual, Intellectual, Emotional, Procreation and Physical Body.  From the time of adulthood, he has dedicated himself to five disciplines of study relating to these innate momentums: Philosophy, Economics, Art, Love and Adventure.

In addition to other successful business endeavors, Jeff founded an organization called, World Parks; a perfect home for him to help convince world leaders to preserve wild places as “world” rather than “national” parks. Through Jeff’s experiences, he has developed a strong belief that mankind is well-advised to reserve large portions of the world in its natural state and says, “my goal is to change the world.”
